plant-based maman is a space for becoming a mother, in real life through nourishment and wellness.

I originally created this space when I was pregnant. I imagined it as somewhere I could share my experience as it was happening. The things I was learning, the surprises of the first trimester, and the questions that kept coming up along the way.

During my second trimester, I experienced a pregnancy loss. My first pregnancy, gone just like that.

That experience changed everything. Not just emotionally, but physically too. The recovery, the confusion, and how much of it felt unspoken.

For a moment, I wasn’t sure if this space still made sense. But over time, I realized that it mattered even more.

plant-based maman has become a place to talk about becoming a mother in a way that feels honest, grounded, and real. It’s a space for the in-between moments, the questions, the learning, and the parts of this journey that aren’t always shared.

I’m sharing this in real time, as I’m living it.

This space is shaped by three pillars:

Nourishment
Conversations around food, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. The everyday ways we support our bodies through simple, plant-forward meals and gentle nutrition.

Motherhood
Reflections on trying to conceive, pregnancy, loss, and what it means to move through this season while still becoming.

Wellness
The practices that support us along the way. Movement, healing, and finding a rhythm that feels sustainable in real life.

We are continuing this journey, learning more, asking questions, and moving forward with both hope and intention.

I truly look forward to the day we are pregnant again. Until then, this space will hold where I am now.
