plant-based maman is a space for real-life wellbeing, nourishment, and the in-between moments of becoming a mother we don’t talk about enough.

I originally created this space while I was pregnant. I imagined it as somewhere I could share what I was learning as it was happening. The surprises of the first trimester, the questions that kept coming up, and the experience of stepping into motherhood for the first time.

During my second trimester, I experienced a pregnancy loss. My first pregnancy, gone just like that.

That experience changed everything. Not just emotionally, but physically too. The recovery, the confusion, the healing, and how much of it felt unspoken.

For a while, I wasn’t sure if this space still made sense. But over time, I realized it mattered even more.

plant-based maman has become a place to talk about maternal wellness and becoming in a way that feels honest, grounded, and real. A space for the in-between moments, the learning, the questions, and the realities of trying to care for ourselves through every stage of this journey.

I’m sharing this in real time, as I’m living it.

This space is shaped by three pillars:

Nourishment
Conversations around food, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. The everyday ways we support our bodies through simple, plant-forward meals and gentle nutrition.

Motherhood
Reflections on trying to conceive, pregnancy, loss, and what it means to move through this season while still becoming.

Wellbeing
The practices that support us along the way - movement, healing, rest, and finding rhythms that feel sustainable in real life.

We are continuing this journey with hope, intention, and a desire to understand our bodies more deeply along the way.

I look forward to the day we are pregnant again. Until then, this space holds where I am now.
